Concerns have arisen among some Disney Parks fans after reports claimed that ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents were spotted near Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. According to rumors circulating on social media, ICE agents were reportedly seen at the Fairfield Anaheim Resort, which is located just steps away from Disneyland Resort’s main entrance. The reports have led a number of foreign tourists to cancel their upcoming Southern California Disney Park vacations.
Rumors about ICE activity at Disneyland Resort started last month, with multiple viral videos alleging that agents were present near the resort’s parking structures and Disney cast member entrances. In response, Disneyland Resort issued a rare public statement confirming that no ICE agents had been spotted on the property and that park operations were continuing as usual.
Despite the official response, some guests have reported noticing fewer crowds at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney. Many Disney fans speculate that the reported ICE activity may be contributing to a decline in attendance, with some commenting that it “didn’t feel right” to be at the park while immigrant families might be facing separation due to immigration enforcement.
Another claim surfaced on July 6, indicating that ICE agents allegedly stayed on multiple floors of the Fairfield Anaheim Resort, an official Good Neighbor hotel located just across the street from Disneyland Resort. The post reignited concern about declining attendance at Disneyland Resort.
“It’s so slow at Disneyland right now, definitely think it’s because of this,” said u/noworriesbby. “Noticing less Latinos here than usual. (I am Latina).”
Several foreign tourists said the rumors led them to reconsider or cancel their trips to Disneyland Resort.
“We’ve been wanting to do a Fall Disney trip, and this is really sad and scary to encounter,” u/crashhearts commented. “Tough decision as a Canadian already, but I don’t think we will be visiting. This is unbelievable.”

We were at the park on Monday celebrating my wife’s birthday. It was insanely slow for the middle of summer; we got on every ride in under twenty minutes. The hotel (Hilton) was a ghost town. The stay was dirt cheap, and one of the manager’s randomly comped us a free night in the lobby for being a loyal customer. Everything’s so crazy right now, I hope the rumors of ICE agents at Disneyland are just that. Those wannabe nazi thugs can eff right the hell off.
