Disney World Weather Update for ‘Graduation Weekend’

It is officially graduation season, and what better way to celebrate finally earning that degree or diploma than with a trip to The Most Magical Place On Earth with the people you love?

Well, if you find yourself preparing to take grad photos in front of Cinderella Castle this weekend, we at Disney Fanatic wanted to make sure that you go into the special day knowing what weather to expect.

According to Weather.com, temperatures are looking to be in the mid-80s and dipping into the upper 60s. Scattered showers and cloud cover should be expected on Friday the 13th with a 60% chance of rain.

Saturday, May 14, will be a hot day in the Parks with a high of 91 and over 55% humidity. No rain is expected as yet on Saturday.

Sunday, May 15, has a chance of being even hotter with a high of 92. But there is a higher chance of rain than on Saturday and a chance of cooler evenings with the temperature dipping back below 70.

But Guests should be most concerned about the UV Index forecasted for the days ahead. All three days are listed as “Extreme” or 9/10. All Guests should properly prepare to protect themselves from the sun. Even if there is overcast, skin can get irritated and sunburnt.

Otherwise, it should be a fun weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort. The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing, and Annual Passholder Previews continue to make their way to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
