It appears that Walt Disney World Resort Guests will be getting a little rain this Easter Weekend.
According to Weather.com, there is a 40% chance of rain on Saturday, April 16, and a 70% chance of rain on Easter Sunday. While it does not appear to be the massive storm bands that we saw earlier this month, we at Disney Fanatic advise all of our readers to be prepared for the possibility of some plan-altering rain.
We also strongly advise Guests to take precautions to protect themselves from the sun–especially those planning. While it appears that clouds will be blocking direct sunlight, the UV index prediction is still very high–10/10–and can still cause severe sunburn.
For those Guests looking to take full advantage of the long weekend, Easter Monday is also looking to be rainy with a 70% of scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Beyond the weather forecast, Disney World’s crowd forecast is also extremely high. As we previously covered, All Theme Park Reservations for Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom set aside for Theme Park Ticket Holders and Select Resort Hotel Guests have been taken, and limited availability remains for those Guests with the Incredi-Pass and Sorcerer Pass (Pirate Pass and Pixie Dust Pass are blocked out this weekend).
It should be an exciting weekend at The Most Magical Place On Earth, though, as Expedition Everest finally reopens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on April 16, and normal, hug-friendly character experiences return on Monday, April 18.
