Recent developments showed the Disneyland Paris Resort to be a leader among its Theme Park family when it came to providing Guests the pre-pandemic normal Disney experience.
Following Disneyland in California and The Walt Disney World Resort in dropping mask mandates, Disneyland Paris kicked off its 30th Anniversary Celebration with the return of its fireworks spectacular Illuminations and the debut of a brand new parade and drone show. Parc Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Park also became the first Disney Parks to welcome back “normal,” huggable character meet and greets.
But there was always a catch.
In compliance with President Emmanuel Macron and France’s national government, Disneyland Paris required all Guests to provide a “Vaccine Pass” or a “Health Pass”–dependent upon age–at the entrance. While unnecessary for visitors to enter the country, Vaccine Passes and Health Passes were made mandatory for anyone looking to participate in society’s leisure activities, such as visiting a Theme Park. Disneyland Paris’ American sisters may still have socially distanced character experiences, but they did not–and still do not–enforce a vaccine status check at the turnstiles.

Now, we at Disney Fanatic can confirm that Disneyland Paris’ vaccine mandates are coming to an end!
We were first notified on Twitter by Disneyland Paris insider, DLP Report, who wrote:
“Starting tomorrow March 14, and in line with French regulations, a vaccine pass will no longer be required to visit Disneyland Paris.”

We then went to Disneyland Paris’ website and found the confirmation we needed. Disney’s European Resort states:
“In line with the latest French government guidance, as of Monday, March 14, Vaccine Pass and Health Pass will not be required anymore to access Disneyland Paris.”
The French Government began repealing the necessity of Vaccine Passes and Health Passes at the beginning of March, and in an interview with the French News Station TF1 on March 3, Prime Minister Jean Castex confirmed,
“From Monday March 14, we will suspend the application of the #PassVaccinal wherever it applies.” (Translated)
