“Avengers, Assemble!”

Construction on Marvel’s Avengers Campus at the Disneyland Paris Resort hit a Seminole milestone today, with the iconic quinjet finally taking its place on the landing pad on the evening of January 28, 2022.

Check it out:

D23 covered the spectacle, writing:

First imagined as an advanced aircraft transport used by Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, there have been several different Quinjet designs throughout Marvel comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, for their Avengers Campus version, the Disneyland Paris team wanted to show a cool, forward-looking aesthetic—but to build a full-size jet, it required additional engineering expertise… which Walt Disney Imagineering found by partnering with British company UK Loco, a longtime collaborator who’d already provided technical input into other amazing Disneyland Paris experiences including Toy Story Playland and Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy.

Disneyland Paris will become the third Disneyland to have an Avengers Campus Area, after The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, and Hong Kong Disneyland.

The quinjet–along with the rest of Avengers Campus–took its place in Disneyland Paris’ “Second Gate,” Walt Disney Studios Park. What started as the smallest Theme Park in the Disney family is now turning into what–in this reporter’s opinion–is the coolest Gate of them all! Once construction is completed, Walt Disney Studios Park will have Marvel’s Avengers Campus, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, The Worlds of Pixar, and a Frozen-themed land. All in one Park! And let’s not forget the awesome attractions already there like Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement ToquĂ©e de RĂ©my (AKA Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure), and Crush’s Coaster.

This is one of the latest developments coming out of Disneyland Paris, following some reveals regarding their plans for the 30th Anniversary Celebration. Disney’s European Resort also started selling multi-day tickets for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
