Disneyland’s Beloved Meet-and-Greet Finally Returns After Months-Long Wait!

There’s something truly magical about Disneyland—an enchantment that stretches beyond the rides and attractions. For many visitors, one of the most memorable parts of a trip is the chance to meet Disney characters. Whether it’s the iconic Mickey Mouse or a beloved princess, the interactions with these larger-than-life figures become the heart of the experience.

But when a beloved meet-and-greet temporarily vanishes, it leaves a gap that fans eagerly anticipate being filled again.

That’s exactly what happened with Pixie Hollow, a space dedicated to Tinker Bell and her fairy friends. For almost a year, Disneyland guests have been waiting for the return of this enchanting spot, which has been an essential part of the park’s magic for years.

Now, after months of silence and anticipation, it’s official: Pixie Hollow will reopen on June 29, 2025.

Pixie Hollow, tucked away between the Matterhorn Bobsleds and the Astro Orbiter, has always been a place of wonder for guests, particularly those enchanted by the world of Tinker Bell. The area was home to Tinker Bell herself, as well as other fairies such as Fawn, Periwinkle, and Silvermist. With its whimsical décor and immersive atmosphere, it offered a perfect escape into the magical world of Disney’s fairy tales.

However, after its closure last fall, the space sat empty with construction walls around it, leaving many wondering when—and if—it would ever open again.

Now, the long wait is over, and Disneyland is welcoming fans back into the magical world of Pixie Hollow. The reopening marks an exciting step in the park’s efforts to bring back some of its most cherished experiences. While only Tinker Bell’s meet-and-greet has been confirmed for the reopening, there’s hope that more fairies will be returning over time.

This gives Disney fans something to look forward to, and there’s a good chance that the space will gradually regain its former splendor as more characters come back to delight guests.

For those looking to experience the magic for themselves, Pixie Hollow will be open daily from 8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and again from 11:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. However, the area will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will also be unavailable on Sunday, August 3 and Monday, August 4. This schedule allows for both early birds and afternoon visitors to catch a glimpse of Tinker Bell and the rest of the fairy realm.

What makes Pixie Hollow so special isn’t just the characters themselves; it’s the way the space makes visitors feel like they’ve stepped into a different world. From the carefully crafted details to the chance to interact with some of Disney’s most beloved fairies, the experience is one that visitors remember long after they leave the park. With its reopening, Disneyland is once again offering that slice of magic that fans have missed so much.
