In its 100 years of existence, The Walt Disney Company has created some of the most memorable characters of all time. From classics like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck to iconic princesses like Snow White, Moana, and Tiana, villains like Ursula, Maleficent, and Dr. Facilier, sidekicks like Olaf, and so many more. One of the great things about visiting a place like Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or Disneyland Resort in California is the memorable character interactions that Guests can have. At Disneyland, characters like Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pooh, Tigger, Captain Hook, and Peter Pan just walk around the Resort, ready to interact and take photos. Guests at Disney World can even plan ahead and schedule meetings with certain popular characters.

While Disney has really mastered the art of character interactions, not everything is perfect. TikToker Aldinerd (@arit_shop) recently got back from a week-long trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. While there, she noticed some things that she thought needed to change.

First up, the time that the characters are out. Arit_shop believes that the characters should be available for meet and greets from the time the Park opens until the time the Park closes. Now, she is not saying that they should not get breaks, but she doesn’t think that it makes sense that a character like Minnie Mouse is only out from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. when the Park opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m.

Arit_shop also thinks that there should be a PhotoPass photographer with each character at character meals. At character dining spots like Chef Mickey’s and Tusker House, characters will go from table to table, interacting with Guests and taking photos. However, it is on Guests to take their own photos. This can lead to families not being able to get a photo of all of them, since one has to take the picture. There are also a lot of selfies. Arit_shop thinks that, for what you pay for a character meal (families can pay over $200 for the experience), PhotoPass photographers should be there.

Despite the issues she had with the way character interactions are handled, Arit_shop and her family had a great time visiting Walt Disney World Resort, and they will keep enjoying Disney vacations.
