Disney’s BoardWalk Hosts a Fairy Tale Wedding

Anyone who thinks about having a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding will probably already know about popular wedding options and venues within the Disney Parks — especially in the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT’s World Showcase. But have you ever considered having a Disney wedding on the BoardWalk? Two brides just had their fairy tale wedding at Sea Breeze Point on the BoardWalk!

Michelle and Farrahn chose a Disney Wedding in order to mix a destination wedding with a place that already had a special significance for them. “The idea of getting married there felt perfect for us,” the couple told Disney’s Ever After blog.

This particular engaged couple chose to get married at Sea Breeze Point in the BoardWalk because the venue had “clean lines” and a nice simple, but airy atmosphere. “The BoardWalk is such a pretty area and the venue size was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be outside with all the natural light we could get and we lucked out with some incredible weather that day,” the happy couple said.

The couple also pointed out one unexpected highlight that might convince other engaged couples to choose the BoardWalk for their venue! “An added bonus that we didn’t realize until the day itself was how pretty the string lights are around the BoardWalk as the sun sets”, the brides said. We could definitely imagine the BoardWalk being a beautiful place to celebrate a new marriage!

One of the best parts of a Disney wedding is the potential for interaction with Disney characters! The happy couple apparently loved “having Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck stop by as well as the dessert party overlooking the Harmonious fireworks show”. “It was incredible!” they enthused.
