A merchandise location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is showing new damage, just a few years after it partially collapsed, narrowly missing Walt Disney World Resort guests.

The Keystone Clothiers building on Hollywood Boulevard had its sign and doorway fall off on September 26, 2022, during park hours, but fortunately, no one was in harm’s way. Jason (@ozborn82), a guest at Walt Disney World Resort that day, shared a photo of the damage on X (formerly known as Twitter), showing part of the storefront broken off.

In the days following the collapse, construction walls appeared around the building, blocking guests from entering the store through the damaged entrance. A year after the incident, Disney cast members installed green-painted plywood as a temporary solution, which removed the construction walls. Some Disney Parks fans weren’t impressed with the fix, calling it a “Six Flags” solution.
By February 2025, construction walls reappeared around Keystone Clothiers’ damaged entrance as Disney cast members began a more extensive repair. This included new faux stone archways and golden ornamentation to match the building’s aesthetic. However, the repair work isn’t without its issues.

According to BlogMickey, some of the new features are showing signs of damage, specifically the film wrap added to the top of the doorway, which looks like green marbled stone. Photos show the wrap bubbling, possibly due to improper installation or material incompatibility with Florida’s heat. In addition, visible holes can be seen in the archway, likely caused by ornamentation that was added and quickly removed.
Despite these ongoing repairs, Keystone Clothiers remains open to Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests. Visitors can use other entrances to shop for the store’s offerings, including children’s and adult clothing and Star Wars and Marvel Studios-inspired merchandise.
