The Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida and Disneyland Resort in Southern California are some of the best places in the world to have the ultimate Disney experience. Both Disney Resorts have some of the most amazing Theme parks in the world—think Magic Kingdom Park or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park at Disney World or Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland. One of the biggest parts of the experience many fans love is the chance to meet their favorite characters and princesses and to really immerse themselves in the Disney magic.
One land that has been MIA at Walt Disney World Resort is Pixar Place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park. It opened in 2008 and was designed to mirror a Pixar Animation Studios campus. It was home to some beloved rides, including Toy Story Midway Mania!, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, and more. Guests could also meet and take photos with characters from The Incredibles, including Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone.
In 2019, Pixar Place was rethemed as part of larger Toy Story Land work and expansion, including more rides, attractions, and experiences from the Toy Story franchise.
When the Disney Resort started reopening after being shut during the pandemic, Pixar Place remained noticeably absent from reopenings and has been totally devoid of any attractions, characters, or activities. However, Disney Parks have now taken to Twitter to share the incredible news that one iconic attraction is coming back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park on May 14 as a part of a reimagined Pixar Place.
Get ready dahling! 💥 The Edna Mode Experience returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 14 as part of a reimagined Pixar Place, where you’ll also encounter Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, and Sulley from “Monsters, Inc." pic.twitter.com/tjvMqZXZPv

The Edna Mode Experience will be back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Guests will also be able to encounter Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, and Sulley from Monsters, Inc.
It’s certainly an exciting turn of events and many were thrilled to hear about it, though a few fans wondered about other fan-favorite characters. One fan asked, “What about mike wazowski?”
Another recalled the delicious treat—Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookies—asking, “Tell me there will be num num cookies there.”
One fan even asked them to open it on May 13, presumably because that’s when they’ll be in the Parks.
We can’t wait to see this reimagined land!
