There are so many fun things to do during your visit to Disneyland Resort. And the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. In addition to riding attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at night, Disneyland has a number of exciting nighttime spectaculars. Over at Disney California Adventure, World of Color – ONE takes place two times per night. At Disneyland Park, Guests can enjoy the brand-new fireworks show, Wondrous Journeys, which celebrates 100 years of Disney magic. Fantasmic! is also an incredible show, but is currently on hiatus due to the damage caused by a massive fire.

Both Wondrous Journeys and World of Color – ONE were created for the 100th Anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. Wondrous Journeys is the perfect combination of fireworks, projections, and beautiful music. The show debuted on January 27 and blew crowds away. Many said that it was just as amazing as Happily Ever After at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park.

Sadly, Wondrous Journeys will soon be coming to an end.

On May 31, it was revealed that Wondrous Journeys will have its last showing on August 31. The show will end, so Disney can begin showing Halloween Screams, which will begin on September 1.

NEW: “Wondrous Journeys” at Disneyland Park will make its last performance of the year on Aug. 31.

Disneyland: “To make way for “Halloween Screams,” the nighttime spectacular “Wondrous Journeys” is scheduled to make its last performance of the year on Aug. 31.”

Halloween Screams will run through October 31. Not long after that, Disneyland Park will then begin showing Believe…In Holiday Magic fireworks for the holiday season. That show will run through early January.

Once the holiday shows are over, Disney will then bring back another fireworks show. Last year, it was Mickey’s Mix Magic. We do not know which show will make its return in mid to late January 2024. Currently, no end date has been announced for the Disney100, but it just started, so there is a good chance that Wondrous Journeys will be back.
