Entitled Guest Breaks Epic Universe Rules, Fights With Team Member

With the grand opening of Epic Universe fast approaching, the Universal Orlando Resort is already making waves, not just with its thrilling attractions, but also with the behaviors of some of its early visitors. As Universal prepares to unveil one of its most anticipated theme parks, exclusive previews for Annual Passholders and team members have offered a sneak peek into the magic—and unfortunately, the chaos—that can sometimes accompany the excitement of a park’s debut.

The Epic Universe previews have already seen their share of eager park-goers looking forward to experiencing the new lands, including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and other immersive worlds. However, before the park officially opens its doors to the general public, a disruptive incident took place that quickly became a topic of conversation across social media.

While many were excited about the opportunity to experience the park’s attractions early, one particular guest’s behavior became a point of contention for both fellow visitors and Universal staff.

TikTok Video Captures the Disruptive Incident

On April 25, 2025, TikTok user giseldontcare (who goes by @GISEL) posted a video that captured a confrontation between a guest and a Universal team member at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. The video, which has quickly gone viral, shows a man causing a scene after attempting to bypass the line for Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge.

In the TikTok video, which has since been shared widely, Gisel recounts that the guest attempted to cut into the Single Rider line, bypassing the regular queue. When he realized that the standby line was moving faster than the Single Rider line, he began arguing with a Universal team member.

In a fit of frustration, the guest raised his voice and started shouting at the staff member, even after being told the rules of the line.

The confrontation escalated as the guest attempted to argue his way into a faster ride experience, despite the team member explaining the clear protocol. As tensions grew, Gisel captured the moment on her phone and later posted the video, sparking widespread reaction.

The video quickly drew attention from both viewers, who were shocked by the behavior, and fans who sympathized with the Universal team member for having to deal with the situation. As the altercation continued, some viewers suggested that the guest should be escorted off the premises and receive a lifetime ban.

The Backlash: Should This Guest Be Banned?

The viral TikTok sparked a heated discussion among Universal fans about how the park should handle such behavior. Many viewers felt that the guest’s actions were not only disruptive, but also disrespectful to the team members and other guests who were trying to enjoy their limited preview of the park.

Some fans even suggested that Universal should consider revoking the guest’s Annual Pass or issuing a temporary ban to send a clear message that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.

The controversy raised questions about how Universal plans to enforce park rules, particularly when it comes to managing guest behavior during exclusive previews and special events.

With the park set to welcome thousands of guests in the coming months, Universal will need to ensure that it can handle large crowds while maintaining the high standards that guests expect.

The incident has also highlighted the importance of setting clear expectations for park behavior. As exclusive previews become more common, it’s crucial that Universal addresses any potential issues with guest conduct early on, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy the park’s attractions in a safe and respectful environment.

  1. Entitled guest, and entitled people no matter the situation or place obviously doesn’t believe that rules were made for them to follow, maybe we as a society have condoned or looked the other way when this rude behavior is displayed for way to long, time to show that this type of behavior has consequences, I would give this person and or family a month’s long ban, not only that but I would circulate to other similar venues post on the guest’s behavior, perhaps they may choose to honor the ban themselves thus eliminating a possible occurrence for their staff to deal with.
