The International Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT will see new additions of topiaries this year near the Park entrance!

Walt Disney Imagineering and the Walt Disney Company are constantly working to create and elevate the Guest experience at the Disney Resorts and the Disney Parks. Often this looks like upgrading and updating rides, or as in the case of the soon-to-close Splash Mountain, retheming them altogether. However, it can also look like updates to fan-favorite festivals like the International Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT, at the Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida.

The Disney World website described the International Flower & Garden Festival held annually at EPCOT as a “springtime event abloom with brilliant gardens, fresh flavors, lively entertainment.” And this it is, with stunning gardens, living sculptures of Disney characters, and unique exhibits at the Disney Park.

This year, the festival will see the addition of topiaries inspired by the beloved movie and franchise Encanto, as reported by journalist Scott Gustin.

Check it out:

The festival, which will run from March 1-July 5, 2023, will feature all-new topiaries of Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela, and Luisa from Disney’s Encanto and will be located near the EPCOT main entrance. (As Disney Parks Blog reminded us, we don’t talk about Bruno!)

Disney Parks Blog also shared further details,

A new Princess Tiana topiary will grace The American Adventure. Plus, we also have returning favorites such as Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs; Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Captain Hook and Tick Tock Croc; Figment; Anna and Elsa; and more.

The festival will also celebrate the return of the Garden Rocks Concert Series and will also allow Guests a lot of food and drink options with over 15 outdoor kitchens. Park-goers can also take in the gentle aromas and sights of spring with Blossoms of Fragrance presented by Scentsy on the bridge to World Showcase.  Last year, the festival also allowed Guests to enjoy a tour of the English Tea Garden in the United Kingdom Pavilion.

Guests should also note that to experience the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, you must have both valid admission and a Park reservation for EPCOT on the same date!
