Dumbo Attraction Altercation – Angry Guests Scream at Each Other as Fight Erupts at Disney Park

Out of all places, this altercation took place on Disney’s iconic Dumbo the Flying Attraction ride…

One of the most exciting times to visit Disneyland Resort is while the villains are out and Halloween time is in full swing. There are a ton of sweet and spicy food options.

In addition to that, each night high above Sleeping Beauty Castle, Jack Skellington and Zero host the Halloween Screams fireworks show. Not only that, but guests can head over to New Orleans Square, where Haunted Mansion has become Haunted Mansion Holiday, with a Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) overlay.

One of the most popular (and congested) areas in the entire Resort is Fantasyland. The magical area is full of rides and experiences that are fun for both kids and kids at heart. Guests can dine at Red Rose Tavern and immerse themselves in Beauty and the Beast (1991).

Then, they can ride on King Arthur’s Carrousel, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and more.

Unfortunately, while a place like Fantasyland might make you think you are leaving the rest of the world behind, not everyone acts like that. Some people don’t seem to care that others are there to enjoy their evening. They think that it is okay to let their tempers get the best of them. Then they yell, shout, curse, and fight, no matter who is in front of them.

Recently, two parties got into an altercation right in front of Dumbo the Flying Elephant. As children waited patiently to be lifted into the air, a group of young women were screaming and cursing.

According to sources who were there, as well as a video of the incident, the women were waiting to ride the attraction. When it is your turn, a Disney cast member will tell you which number to stand on. Then, you will board the appropriate Dumbo vehicle.

It appeared that the women either did not know or did not care and just boarded whatever Dumbo they felt like getting into. However, the family that was assigned to the Dumbo wanted to ride in the car they were assigned. The women tried to argue with them, but were then told that they had to exit.

The women got out and began arguing with the cast member. Then, another cast member, possibly a supervisor, came over and also began talking to the women, who continued to argue. Then, one of the women began shouting and cursing.

Video of the incident was shared on a YouTube livestream by Theme Park Casual. The incident begins around the four-hour and fifteen-minute mark.

We do not know what happened to the women in the video, but yelling and swearing at cast members and other guests is strictly prohibited. It is possible that the cast members simply told the guests to walk away. However, they would have been perfectly within their rights to have the problematic guests escorted from the parks.

When visiting a Disney Park, listening to the cast members is very important. There are certain policies and procedures in the place so that all guests can have an enjoyable time. If you make a mistake, like getting into the wrong seat, apologize and move to your assigned spot.

Sadly, this is not the first time in recent days that Disneyland guests have had to witness poor behavior in Fantasyland. Just about a week ago, guests were shocked and scared to see fists flying near Storybook Canal as a guest shouting match turned physical. Thankfully, this latest problem did not become anything more than a shouting match.

Please note that the story outlined in this article is based on a personal Disney Parks guest experience. No two guest experiences are alike, and this article does not necessarily align with Disney Fanatic’s personal views on Disney Park operations.
