Have you ever heard the phrase, “There’s not a children’s game that adults can’t ruin”? Well, that also appears to be true for places that are supposed to be safe for everyone, like Disneyland Resort. Disneyland Resort is known as The Happiest Place on Earth, but all it takes is a few incredibly terrible adults to ruin everything for everyone. Those same adults don’t seem to care if they put children in danger.

On Sunday, October 15, dozens of guests were making their way through Fantasyland. Fantasyland is one of the busiest areas of the theme park, as it is home to a ton of kid-friendly rides. Young ones can fly through the air on Dumbo, board a pirate ship on Peter Pan’s Flight, venture through Snow White’s happily ever after, and ride magical horses on King Arthur’s Carrousel. And, of course, we can’t forget about the iconic “it’s a small world”?

Suddenly, much to everyone’s surprise, screaming began and, before long, punches were thrown. Two parties were kicking at and attacking each other. Disney cast members had to put themselves at risk in an attempt to break up the brawling adults.

Video of the fight quickly made the rounds.

Even the happiest places on earth isn’t always happy ?

Perhaps one of the worst parts of the video — as with other fights in the past — is that there is a stroller right where the groups are fighting. That makes it clear that there are not only children watching their parents engage in such violence, but they are babies or toddlers. In fact, the stroller was actually hit during the melee, but thankfully, no child appeared to be inside of it at the time.

We don’t know what caused the alteration to begin. In another video that was also shared, a man in a blue shirt can be seen putting his hands on a woman in a red shirt. Another man also in a red shirt quickly jumps in to defend the woman, shoving the man in blue. Then, a man in a green shirt and a woman in a white shirt also jump in, going after each other. Even some kicks are thrown.

Children are also seen running around the outside of the fight, looking on. The appeared to be in one of the fighting parties, watching on in terror.

After the fight, sections of Fantasyland were temporarily closed, with guests unable to enjoy the Mad Tea Party or Alice in Wonderland.

At this time, we do not know what caused the fight to break out. However, according to one eyewitness who spoke to Disney Fanatic, even after the fight was broken up by cast members, one party member was still trying to throw punches. This reportedly happened more than once.

Other eyewitnesses noted that it did take police officers a while to get there. Disneyland has its own security members, but for more dangerous situations, they will call in the help of the Anaheim Police Department.

We also do not know what happened to the terrible guests. But if the past is any indication, we can make an educated guess. Disney Parks have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to violence. Guests who engage in violent or dangerous behavior will immediately be escorted from the parks. They will also most likely be issued a trespass notice.

A trespass notice means that guests are banned from visiting a Disney theme park for a set amount of time. Guests who engage in the type of disgusting behavior seen in the video above are typically banned for life.

Then there’s the legal ramifications of getting involved in a melee. Guests have not only been arrested in the past, but also sentenced to actual jail time.
