Fight Breaks Out in Front of Disney Parade Performers

Another day, another story about bad guest behavior.

There have always been issues with problematic and entitled guests visiting Disney. That is to be expected, considering thousands of strangers interacting is bound to cause some issues. But since the COVID-19 pandemic, behavior seems to have reached an all-time low. Tempers flare way too quickly and have led to multiple assaults between guests. There have even been assaults committed against cast members.

While a majority of the bad behavior seems to come from Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disney’s global theme parks aren’t immune. Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, and Tokyo Disney Resort also have guests who are capable of bad behavior.

Most recently, Disneyland Paris guests were shocked to see two families going at it. And during the Disney Stars on Parade event, of all things. Surrounded by innocent bystanders and a lot of children, one family reportedly had no issue making a scene.

Magic Moment News shared a video of the fight on TikTok, which happened on the sidewalk as the parade went by.

As you can see in the video, it seems that even the cast member playing Clarabelle Cow seemed to notice the tussle! Thankfully, Disneyland Paris cast members quickly stepped in and broke up the altercation.

According to the original poster (OP), the fight began when one family tried to get a good viewing spot for the parade at the last minute. The party that was sitting on the sidewalk was there first. Then the second group showed up late and tried to push the first family out of the way. That’s when things got violent and the fight began.

There were some comments saying that the aggressive family was removed from the park, but we cannot confirm that that is true.

Recent Fights at Disney

As we said above, this is not the first fight to break out at a Disney park in recent weeks.

Over at Disneyland Resort in California, one family didn’t even make it into the parks. A video was shared, showing a man screaming at Disneyland Security, as well as another cast member. He is then shown, still yelling, but this time his wife and young daughter are with him. His wife tries to get him to turn around and walk away as he continues to shout.

The bad behavior continued at Disneyland Park, with reports of a woman shoving an elderly guest out of the way. The aggressive woman was reportedly with her young child when she shoved the unknown guest while trying to board the Disneyland Railroad. She was called out by other guests for behavior and cursed at them.

Disney takes bad behavior and violence in its parks very seriously. If a guest is caught acting in a dangerous or aggressive manner, Disney reserves the right to remove them from the parks. If the behavior is particularly egregious, Disney may even issue a trespass notice. A trespass notice bans the guest from visiting all Disney properties for a set amount of time.
