In a shocking report, a guest allegedly shoved an old lady to get on a train at a Disney Park and cussed out the fan who called her out.
The Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth” and “The Happiest Place on Earth” for good reason. With rides and attractions like Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Park, lands like Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, as well as the iconic castles—Cinderella Castle in Disney World and Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Resort, there’s a lot to love.
Both Disney resorts provide the ultimate Disney experience to guests; however, sometimes, guests don’t behave in ways that are appropriate for a Disney Park.
Fan Details Shocking Account of Bad Behavior at Disneyland
While bad behavior at any Disney theme park (be that Disney World or Disneyland) is not new, there are occasionally instances that can take even the most seasoned park-goer by surprise. Recently, a guest shared one such example. Earlier this week, one guest, Unequivocally_Maybe, shared the worst instance of line-cutting they had ever seen.
The guest explained that it was back in May when a guest “shoved” an old lady making her stumble. The guest explained, “[The woman], and her group, had cut in line while at New Orleans Square station. Then, when they opened the gate to let people on the whole group of them started jogging, despite being close to the front of the line, and there being plenty of space for passengers.”
The OP continued, “One woman, with her maybe 8 year old son, literally pushed an older woman to get past her. I said ‘What is wrong with you? You almost knocked that lady over’ and she told me to ‘f— off and mind [my] business’. I don’t know how a cast member didn’t see her, but she and her son got onto the train near the front without any further confrontation about it.”
Unfortunately, line-cutting is a fairly common phenomenon at the Disney Parks. There have been multiple times in the past when people have cut lines and been rude; it happens all too frequently. Even when it comes to bad behavior, this isn’t the first instance and likely won’t be the last.
It’s certainly worth remembering that the Disney Parks are for families, and behavior appropriate for the environment is called for.
More on the Disney Parks
The Walt Disney Company has its hand in many pies, but easily one of its most profitable are the Disney Parks. Any Disney theme park, whether that’s Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World, or Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort is known for the amazing Disney experience it provides.
