In September 2021, two groups of guests went viral for throwing punches aboard the ferry that takes people to and from the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. The video shows two families circling around each other and throwing punches. Then, as the main group fights, two women hit and punch at each other and the mother of one woman appears to try to break up the side altercation.

According to the woman who originally posted the video, one family — that was not seen on camera — was talking poorly to the family of the man in the blue Boston Red Sox shirt. The second family then allegedly began yelling at the first family and cursing at them. A third family then spoke up, asking the second family not to curse and yell like that in front of children. That is when things reportedly got crazy and the fight broke out.

Now, one of the women involved in the fight has spoken out about it, and she doesn’t regret her actions.

In the original video, towards the end, a young white woman and a black woman can be seen exchanging punches. The white woman has posted a TikTok defending her actions. The woman says that she treats people with kindness, but the other woman attacked her mother, which is why she hit and punched the woman.

Guests who were on the ferry with the fighting families said that they thought someone had been shot, with all the screaming that was happening. They also revealed that the police came and took everyone from both parties away. Guests clapped as the violent offenders were removed.

I was on the ferry on the other side, sounded like a active shooter from how everyone was screaming and reacting like that. Cop came in and took them away and everyone started clapping

We do not know if anyone was issued trespass notices and banned from Disney.

Fights Have Become All Too Common

Sadly, fights have almost become a norm when visiting Disney parks. We have seen many fights happen at Walt Disney World Resort. Altercations have broken out in lines for popular attractions like Toy Story Mania and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. One fight at the entrance to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom was so violent that Cast Members had to clean blood off of the pavement.

Recently, at Disneyland Paris, two groups of guests were seen throwing punches and kicks as a parade went down Main Street, U.S.A. They fought without shame as Disney characters walked on by.

The ferry boat fight is also not the only Disney fight to go viral. In July 2019, a massive brawl broke out in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Resort. Two families got extremely violent in front of young children. Multiple people were arrested, lifetime bans were issued, and some of those involved even received jail sentences.

Disney WILL NOT Put Up With Violence

Disney has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to violence in its parks and Resort areas. If guests get violent or aggressive, Disney security is quick to act. Those guests will be escorted from the property and will most likely receive a trespass notice. That means that they are banned from visiting any Disney park or Resort for a certain amount of time. The worse the offense, the longer the ban.

Disney is not afraid to issue lifetime bans. They have done it in the past, and they will continue to do it if guests continue to act like fools.
