Find Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Merchandise Coming Soon from shopDisney Japan!

Can’t wait for all the new Walt Disney World 50th anniversary merchandise? Neither can we, but thankfully shopDisney Japan just gave us a peek at merchandise just for the occasion that we believe will be hitting the stateside version of the site very soon!

The new collection features vintage-inspired and newly designed clothing, accessories, ornaments, home decor and more. The vintage pieces are sure to be memorable souvenirs, as you may recognize some of them from Walt Disney World vacations past, and they would be really fun to pick up and have around the house in celebration of this year’s milestone event.

Here are some of our favorites from the collection:

These 50th anniversary pins feature different members of the Fab Five (plus Daisy and Chip and Dale). We love this classic design and think they would make a great addition to any pin trading fan’s collection. The EARidescent look of this pin is one of the main themes of “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth” and we love seeing that carried over to the limited edition merchandise. (Pins are 1,320円)

This photo frame is an EARidescent take on similar frames we’ve seen throughout Walt Disney World’s history and we just love it! With Mickey and Minnie in their new outfits for “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth,” and Cinderella Castle all decorated with the gold emblems and spire wraps, this one looks like a nice way to capture your memories from visiting during the celebration. As for the vintage pieces, that is really what we are most excited for (we’re seeing some similar items already at Walt Disney World with the launch of the Vault Collection.) This plush of Mickey in his original 1971 appearance is adorable! And with the 50th anniversary logo under his show it’s really one of our favorite pieces from the collection. (5,500円)

This shirt appears to be modeled after merchandise that was originally sold at the Walt Disney World Preview Center before the opening of the Walt Disney World Resort. How cool is that?! (4,290円)

There are lots of magnets and stickers included like the one above, and it seems many of these may be featured in the Vault Collection. The Vault Collection launched today in Disney Springs, so if you happen to already be in Walt Disney World you may be able to pick up some of these pieces now! (440円)

Perhaps one of the fan-favorite items coming soon for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary is the above jacket. It doesn’t get anymore classic than a 1971-inspired Magic Kingdom letterman jacket! (9,020円)

Last but certainly not least in our least of favorites…It looks like we’re getting some special 50th anniversary VINYLMATION! In case you don’t remember Vinylmation, these Mickey-shaped figures used to come in a variety of designs, and there were even mystery boxes and select locations where you could trade them. We don’t think they’ll entirely be making a comeback but it is really interesting to see some included here for the 50th. (42,460円)
