Two fire alerts at Magic Kingdom Park in less than 48 hours have put Walt Disney World Resort's flagship theme park in an unusual spotlight this week.
Monday's Fire Alert at Magic Kingdom

The first call came in at 9:34 a.m. on Monday, June 8, when law enforcement received a 911 report of a fire at Magic Kingdom Park. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the dispatch on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The Google Maps pin attached to that alert placed the response near the Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland. However, it's unclear if that's actually where the fire broke out.

Walt Disney World Resort issued no statement about the incident, and the restaurant continued operating normally throughout the day, suggesting the situation was resolved with minimal impact on the guest experience.
Tuesday's Alert

Less than 48 hours later, a second fire call came in from Magic Kingdom Park. At 12:38 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, @WDWActiveCrime logged another 911 call:
🔥 Fire Alert – 6/9/26 12:38 PM

This time, the attached Google Maps screenshot placed the response just outside Magic Kingdom's borders — near the bus depot and Minnie Van drop-off area along the walkway to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Once again, the pinned location reflects a generalized address rather than a precise spot, so the actual emergency response location may differ from what the map shows.

Walt Disney World Resort has not issued any statement regarding either Monday's or Tuesday's fire alerts, consistent with how the Central Florida vacation destination typically handles emergency responses on its property. The two incidents appear unrelated based on their differing locations, and no operational disruptions at Magic Kingdom Park have been reported in connection with either call.
Guests currently at Magic Kingdom Park should proceed normally. Anyone who encounters emergency personnel or law enforcement during a Walt Disney World Resort visit should avoid any restricted areas and follow all instructions from authorities and cast members on the scene.
