Recently, we have seen Disney Movie Character IPs becoming more common. For example, rooms at Disney’s Contemporary Resort next to the Magic Kingdom now feature The Incredibles, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is themed after Moana.

But now, across the sea, another Disney Resort hotel comes to life, taking Guests into the world of Pixar Animation Studios’ first big franchise: the Toy Story Hotel!

Tokyo Disney Resort shared their first look on Twitter, calling fans to shrink to the size of a toy and go explore this new offering:

Appearing like another one of Andy’s backyard creations, Walt Disney Imagineers themed this new hotel perfectly in sync with the Toy Story Land found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Guests can roam about two courtyards: one out front and another on a higher floor. Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and all of their pals are also scattered around, reminding this writer of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. The rooms are modeled after Andy’s own room with the iconic cloudy wallpaper.

Tokyo Disney Resort’s Toy Story Hotel joins the ranks of the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, The Disney Ambassador Hotel, and the Tokyo DisneySea MiraCosta Hotel. Hotel Guests can access Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea via the Disney Resort Monorail Line at the nearby Bayside Station. But Tokyo Disney’s website states that Guests staying at the Toy Story Hotel will not be given complimentary access to the monorail system.

Opening day is scheduled for the first week of April. Tokyo Disney Resort is owned and operated by the Oriental Land Company, and its Toy Story Hotel will be Disney’s second, following the first built at the Shanghai Disney Resort. It will also be the latest Disney Resort addition of the Franchise IP. Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disney all feature a Toy Story-themed land in at least one of their Disney Parks, and Toy Story Mania is a marquee attraction of Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort.
