On top of relieving Annual Passholders from booking a Theme Park Reservation for Park visits after 2 pm, The Walt Disney World Resort announced today, January 10, that complimentary self-parking would return to Resort Hotels on property. And that convenience would also resume today!

Disney Parks Blog states,
Beginning this evening, Jan. 10, overnight self-parking will once again be offered complimentary to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World. This is a Disney difference many of you have asked us to bring back, and we’re happy to reintroduce it to make your vacation a little easier and more affordable – whether you’re road tripping across the country, renting a car or vacationing as a local Florida resident. As a reminder, Disney Resort hotel guests also continue to receive complimentary standard parking at Walt Disney World theme parks, daily early theme park entry (with valid admission and a park reservation) and complimentary on-site transportation options such as buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner.
Disney World Resort Hotel Guests lost a lot in 2022. Disney’s Magical Express was discontinued, MagicBands became no longer a complimentary addition to the reservation, and even self-parking was an additional cost per night. With the cost of hotel reservations, meals, and Theme Park tickets reportedly on the rise at The Most Magical Place On Earth, the end of paid parking at one’s favorite Disney World Resort hotel is a welcomed blessing missed by many.
With the return of complimentary parking, one has to wonder if complimentary MagicBands will also be making a return sometime this year.
