There have been reports of fans before who have given birth at a Disney Park, with the first-ever birth recorded at a Disney Resort being that of Teresa Salcedo at Disneyland Resort on July 6, 1979. YouTuber NostalgiaMagic shared a video debunking this same rumor in the context of Disneyland, sharing the story of Teresa and Rosa Salcedo and explaining that the Disney birth certificate has been confused with being a lifetime pass as it passed through the grapevine.
YouTuber Danny Gonzalez debunked the rumor in the case of Disneyland Resort. In fact, many people have spoken out against it. So this begs the question, what should you know if you’re considering giving birth at Disney World?
Typically, if an expecting mother goes into labor at any Disney Park, she’ll likely be rushed to the hospital, where medical staff can support the birth of the child. While it’s certainly possible to give birth at Walt Disney World in extenuating circumstances, doing so won’t get you or your child any special perks—except for maybe some extra attention from the Cast Members!
