A Frontier Airlines flight took off from Denver, Colorado, for Orlando, Florida, but made an unexpected stop in Pensacola with one extra passenger on board.
On Tuesday, May 17, a Frontier flight attendant had the surprising task of helping deliver a baby mid-flight.

According to a Facebook post put out by Frontier Airlines, “The baby couldn’t wait, so the early and unexpected labor took place on a flight from Denver International Airport to Orlando International Airport (MCO). Diana helped the mother to the back lavatory and assisted the mother in giving birth.”
The flight crew worked fast to divert to Pensacola where paramedics met the mother and her newborn daughter at the gate.
The mother, who remained unnamed, decided to make her new daughter’s middle name “Sky,” and as fortune would have it, the Frontier aircraft she was born on had a mother/daughter wolf pairing on the tail.
