Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Plot Accidentally Pitched By What If…? Creator

It is no secret that Marvel Cinematic Universe has many movie parts at any given time. To make sure that all parts are moving in the same direction, all ideas go through Kevin Feige the company’s Chief Creative Officer.

In a recent interview What If…? creator A.C. Bradley revealed that she experienced Feige’s knowledge first had as she accidentally pitched part of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as part of the plot for an episode of What If…?

“I walked [executive producer] Brad Winderbaum through all my hard work, only to find out I accidentally pitched the back half of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. ]. So I stay away from Mr. James Gunn and his brilliance and his work, and I did go home after that day and cracked open a beer and be like, ‘Well that’s going to be an amazing movie but now I gotta go back to the drawing board.”

Now we won’t know exactly what those similarities are until we are able to see Vol 3 in 2023, but we do know that Bradley seems to have some excellent ideas.
