Another less-then-family-friendly arrest has been made at The Most Magical Place On Earth as a Guest’s unlawful actions at a Disney bar landed him behind bars.

36-year-old Andrew Ticknor from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was reportedly arrested after slapping a female security guard on the behind at a bar at Walt Disney World Resort. He was charged with battery on a uniformed security guard as well as trespassing after a warning.
The incident took place at The Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, which is the location of the Resort Hotel’s “Sangria University” experience.
Security told Orange County Sheriff Deputy that Tiknor was “intoxicated and stumbling around near the entrance” and delivered an open-handed slap to her behind.
Reports say that the guard did not want to press charges as long as Tiknor was kicked off the property but changed her mind after speaking with her manager.
Tiknor then returned to his room after being kicked off the property, prompting an arrest to be made.
His trial date is set for June 26.
This is not the first time Orange County Sheriff’s Office has been called to handle incidents of assault–verbal, sexual, or physical–involving alcohol, and it will likely not be the last.
Walt Disney World Resort offers a variety of drinking options at its Theme Parks and Resort Hotels, capped with the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival and the unofficial Monorail Crawl to the bars at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
Unfortunately, some Guests can’t seem to be able to hold their liquor.
It is unclear if this Guest was visiting alone or if he had friends and family in tow.
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney Parks news and stories as more developments come to light.
