A Disney Guest recently panned the Disney experience at the Walt Disney World Resort, ripping the Theme Park to shreds. Undoubtedly, one of the best ways to experience the essence of Disney is by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort. Each Disney Park within these Disney Resorts offers a plethora of rides, attractions, and entertainment options that Guests can indulge in. Despite the popularity of the Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts, a number of fans have expressed disappointment with their recent experiences. As an example, a family referred to their Disney vacation as a “waste of money.”
Kelsey Rhae took to TikTok in response to a question from a commenter when they mentioned they would be going to Disney World with their family this summer and wanted to know if it was worth it and what to take or leave behind during their visit.
Rhae’s opinion, however, is that the Disney World experience left much to be desired. She opened by saying, “This is our first and last time at Disney.” She groused that it was too difficult with 7 children and 4 adults to actually make the trip work and, like many others, panned Disney Genie—Genie+ and Lightning Lane—sharing often they were waiting in line for a long time for rides that didn’t live up to the wait. She did acquiesce that she enjoyed some rides like DINOSAUR. Rhae also shared that the food was “disgusting” and too many restaurants needed reservations with nothing available for her family.

Of course, many called Rhea out for poor planning.
“I just don’t understand people who drop $10k on a vacation and don’t research in advance to make the most of it,” @sarahb9871 shared.
“This is giving ‘I didn’t know what I was doing, so my experience was horrible,’” agreed @jordanleegreenwel.
This said, Rhae didn’t quite back down—she made a video response to a lot of these comments. She said, “The amount of people in my comments section saying, ‘Oh well, it was a bad experience because of poor planning. Oh, well, everyone knows you’re supposed to make reservations to eat at a restaurant 60 to 90 days in advance.’ Clearly, no. Not everybody knows that,” Kelsey said. “And what the f**k am I doing spending $2,000 on tickets to get into this Park if I have to plan a year in advance?… It don’t make no f**king sense.”
@thekelseyrhae Replying to @miss_anna_bea absolutely not. Disney is the real $cam
This time while many were still unsympathetic to Rhae—one Amber Armstrong shared, “Well do your research, gotta plan ahead. Disney is a blast”—many also spoke out in support of the Guest, sharing they would never go back after going once, or maximum, twice.
