A Disney Park Guest recently had a meltdown and yelled at a Cast Member when they were stopped from entering a Disney Theme Park.
The Disney Parks have changed in myriad ways over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, and likely the biggest of those has been the introduction of the Park reservation system.
The Theme Parks are still undoubtedly crowded — that’s never going to change — but they are still operating with restrictions, i.e., under reduced capacity. Guests still have to obtain a Disney Park Pass to enter a Theme Park, a system that allows fans to make a Park reservation up through 2024.
Despite its divisive reception among fans and would-be Guests, Disney shows no sign of dropping the Park Pass System anytime soon, something Guests have been incredibly vocally frustrated by. Per fans, this policy could ruin a trip to the that had been planned months prior.

A recent viral TikTok video shows precisely this: a Guest being incredibly frustrated by the system.
The video shows the Guest, presumably with their child, at one of the ticket booths at the entrance to Disneyland Resort. According to the video, the Guest had made reservations for the entire party, but the child did not have one. It appears they were not being let in, which led to some fireworks.

The Disney Park Guest yelled at the Cast Member staffing the booth repeatedly as dozens of others watched. It’s unclear if the situation was resolved after this — the video ends before we find out, but we know that Disney is firm on its reservation policy.
While this ‘s frustration at the policy is more than understandable, Guests often take for granted that Cast Members whether at , , or any other are there to help and always try their best to ensure visitors have a magical day. It’s important to remember that Disney, not the Cast Members, are responsible for these policies, and the latter are merely doing their jobs.
While the Theme Parks are returning to normal, Disney CFO Christine McCarthy participated in a Q & session earlier this year at Morgan Stanley’s 2022 Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, where she divulged a few details about what fans can expect in the upcoming months. She stated that Parks’ capacities would never return to normal. For better or for worse, it appears that, at least for the foreseeable future, the powers-that-be intend to keep the policy going.
