On July 18, X user @JosemaVallejo shared a video of the incident at Disney Village — the shopping and dining district at Disneyland Paris Resort — where a limited-edition release of the Disney Lorcana “Attack of the Vine!” trading card set had drawn massive crowds. The footage shows a group of men running, jumping over barriers, and physically shoving their way past hundreds of guests who had been waiting in an organized queue, pushing past Disney cast members attempting to manage the line in the process.

Despite the chaotic scenes captured on video, the Disney Lorcana “Attack of the Vine!” release at Disney Village proceeded as planned — a notable contrast to what unfolded at the Disney Store on Oxford Street in London, where violent scenes caused the event to be canceled outright shortly after 6:00 a.m. the same weekend. Sprawling lines also overtook Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort and the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort during the same release window.
Disneyland Paris Resort has not issued any public statement about the footage or the behavior of the guests involved.
