6. Green Army Men

Speaking of Toy Story, the green army men are patrolling the streets in front of Toy Story Mania and you will want to meet them because they are truly hilarious! The Green Army Men are not stationed in a particular area. Instead, they walk around at random times during the day.

5. Citizens of Hollywood

Many guests at the parks dash towards their favorite ride or attraction at Hollywood Studios without realizing the performers on the streets. The Citizens of Hollywood are one of the most comical acts on the Walt Disney World Resort Property. They have a way of using guests in their routines and their wit is sure to make you laugh. You can also take pictures with them before or after their skits. They continuously perform on the streets of the park throughout the day until dusk. You can’t miss them with their iconic Hollywood glam costumes.

4. Disney Junior Favorites

Little ones will have a blast meeting their favorite Disney Junior characters at Hollywood Studios. Sophia The First, Doc McStuffins, and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates are located in the Animation Courtyard continuously throughout the day. 2. Star Wars Favorites

The Star Wars Launch Bay recently opened at Hollywood Studios, and it has been putting smiles on Star Wars fanatics. At the launch Bay, guests can see replicas of costumes and spacecrafts from the movies and even see a short film about them with commentaries from the directors and producers. The gift shop is another area at the Launch Bay that is loved by many because it has some of the most unique souvenirs. The most popular feature of the Launch Bay, however, has to be the character meet and greets with the Storm Troopers, Chewbacca, Jawas, and Kylo Ren. There are also no fastpasses for this experience, but the lines seem to move pretty quickly most of the time. The backgrounds for these characters really look like you went to their native planet (or ship) to pay them a visit, which gives your pictures some authenticity. Kids can also interact with other characters such as Darth Maul, Darth Vader, and other Jedi’s in the Jedi Training academy over by the Star Tours ride.

1. Character Palooza

One of the best ways to meet rarely seen characters at Hollywood Studios is by checking out the unofficial and unannounced character meet and greet known as Character Palooza. This 20-30 minute interaction between characters and guests is a great way to meet some of the more rare characters that aren’t out and about usually. This typically happens 4 hours before Fantasmic! begins since the determination of which characters appear for this depends on the Fantasmic! schedule. There is no way of knowing exactly which characters or at which time they will be out for meet and greets, however, Character Palooza has recently been taking place at the entrance of the park, so be sure to check in the afternoon for their arrival. It is also common for cast members to brush off questions about this meet and greet to keep crowds at a minimum.
