Have You Truly Experienced Disney? If You Haven’t Eaten These 10 Disney Treats, The Answer Is No!

Mickey Premium Bar

Disney food is one of the things I look forward to the most. There are a plethora of unique and popular choices to enjoy while exploring the parks and resorts. With so many savory treats that can’t be missed, preparing this list wasn’t easy by any means! Here are ten stupendous Disney treats that can’t be missed!

10. Churros

What’s better than fried, crispy dough covered in cinnamon sugar? Nothing at all! Churros are a sweet treat that is often seen around the parks. They are super long and super delicious! Churros are offered at al four theme parks, and due to their popularity, there are several stands that sell them!

9. Tonga Toast

Located inside the Polynesian Resort at Kona Cafe, Tonga Toast is a comfort breakfast food that will have your taste buds saying ‘Aloha’! Once I tried this unbelievable combination of sourdough bread stuffed with bananas, as well as deep-fried while generously covered with cinnamon sugar I knew I was hooked! Tonga Toast is Kona Café’s most popular entrée choice, and it’s no surprise to me because it is out of this world. This is a delicious way to start off your day, so be sure to check it out on your next trip!

8. Pretzels

Pretzels are extra special at Disney because they are out of this world amazing! There are several kinds to choose from like the mickey shaped pretzel and the jalapeno one too, but my personal and all time favorite has to be the sweet cream cheese pretzel. This hot, soft pretzel is filled with cream cheese for the perfect combination of sweet and salty. Pretzels can be found at all four theme parks at various stands.

7. Funnel Cake

Like churros, fried dough is one of the best comfort foods. Funnel cakes are always enjoyed at fairs and carnivals, but Disney also make a mean funnel cake! Fried dough cooked to perfection topped off with your choice of powdered sugar, ice cream, syrups and more will have you smiling from ear to ear. There is nothing like indulging in one of these sweet treats that are offered at all four of the Walt Disney World theme parks!

6. Popcorn

A true classic American snack, popcorn never gets old! It’s light and airy consistency makes it a great treat to munch on while traveling around the park or to hold you over until your next meal. There are several popcorn stands around all four theme parks. The popcorn is made fresh at the stand so you are guaranteed a fresh bucket. Speaking of buckets, one of the best parts about grabbing some popcorn is the adorable souvenir buckets it comes in. Disney fans go crazy for these because they can be used for so many other things once returning home form your vacation.

5. Zebra Domes

One of my favorite (and must-do) desserts to have on my Disney trips are the zebra domes, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge at Boma, a sit-down buffet restaurant, and The Mara, a quick service location. Even if you aren’t staying at this resort, I guarantee you the time you take out of your schedule to pick up a few of these mousse filled, creamy chocolate domes will be well worth it. There is nothing like this anywhere else on property. The secret ingredient in these domes is Amarula Cream liqueur which offers a smooth caramel flavor. Whether you plan a dinner at Boma, or just want to snag a few domes at The Mara, you won’t regret checking these out!

Turkey legs are very well known and over 2.5 million pounds of them are sold yearly! That’s a whole ‘lotta turkey! There are several stands that sell these iconic turkey legs. They are very juicy and enough to share with a couple of people or you can skip the sharing and just selfishly treat yourself!

3. Dole Whips

Want to be taken to a tropical paradise? Simply grab a dole whip, close your eyes, and embrace the spirit of creamy frozen yogurt and a splash of Dole Pineapple juice. This combination is by far one of the tastiest treats I’ve ever had and they are quite popular at Disney World! I have never seen a short line for these because of their high demand. Next time you visit Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom or the Polynesian resort, be sure to try a Dole Whip!

Her love for Disney started at the age of two during her first visit, and has continued to flourish into her adult life.
