Hello Fall! Welcome Fall with a DIY Winnie the Pooh Wreath

Welcome the fall and all this pumpkin with this adorable DIY wreath featuring our favorite silly old bear, Winnie the Pooh! Disney Family provides an easy video and a step-by-step guide to bring this fantastic wreath to your house this year.

What You’ll Need

  • Wreath made of twigs, branches, or straw
  • Scarf
  • Faux autumn leaves
  • Acorns
  • Pine cones
  • Small piece of wood (about 2″ x 5″)
  • Marker
  • 1 sheet of felt
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors
  • Fall-themed stickers
  • Honey pot
  • Winnie the Pooh plush

How To Make It

  1. Prep a “Welcome Fall” sign by writing on a small piece of wood with marker. Add fall-themed stickers for extra flair. Set aside. (As an alternate idea, you could paint the wooden sign and set aside to dry.)

2. Cut a thin strip of felt, about 1″ wide and 8″ long. Trim the ends to create a fringe effect. This will become Winnie the Pooh’s fall scarf!

3. Wrap the scarf around your wreath and hot glue ends in place.

4. Hot glue autumn leaves, pine cones, and acorns around the wreath. Use hot glue to attach the “Welcome Fall” sign.

5. Carefully hot glue the honey pot into place. Make sure to use plenty of glue. (You might also consider securing into place with fishing wire.)

6. Attach Winnie the Pooh to the wreath with hot glue. Wrap the miniature felt scarf around his neck to make him cozy and warm for the season.

7. Hang the wreath on your front door!

Enjoy your Winnie the Pooh themed fall wreath this year!

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
