Hurricane Milton Forces Disney World to Announce Multiple Closures

Hurricane Milton has rapidly intensified to a Category 5 hurricane, carrying sustained winds of approximately 180 miles per hour. The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane warning for much of Central Florida, alerting residents and visitors to the impending threat. Milton’s projected track suggests a landfall near Longboat Key, which is situated between Tampa and Sarasota.

Meteorological models indicate that Hurricane Milton could make landfall as early as Wednesday evening, potentially leading to catastrophic conditions. Residents in the path of the storm are advised to take all warnings seriously and prepare for severe impacts.
