The construction footprint around Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris Resort expanded again over the weekend, and a new set of barriers has now reached a spot that European Disney Park guests have long used as a backdrop for some of their most memorable park photos.
Sleeping Beauty Castle Stage Goes Behind Walls
On Sunday, purple-and-blue construction walls appeared around the stage area in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. X user @PixiedustDLP documented the new barriers on the platform formerly known as Twitter:

Whether the castle stage walls are directly connected to the ongoing bridge refurbishment or represent a separate simultaneous project in the Central Plaza area hasn't been confirmed by Disneyland Paris Resort. The European Disney vacation destination has offered no statement about the latest expansion of the construction zone.
@PixiedustDLP also shared a general update on the status of the bridge refurbishment alongside the stage wall news, reminding Disneyland Park guests that access to Sleeping Beauty Castle remains possible despite the growing construction presence:

How the Project Has Grown Since May
What began in early May as a relatively contained bridge refurbishment has steadily expanded its reach across Central Plaza. The original construction walls around the bridge were covered with decorative scrim to minimize the visual impact on guest photos.
Additional walls have appeared in several spots around Central Plaza over the past month as crews work on pavement replacement and other restoration projects. The cumulative effect of all this simultaneous construction is a Central Plaza that looks dramatically different from the castle backdrop guests have come to expect at Disneyland Park in Paris.
Through all of it, the Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough and La Tanière du Dragon — The Lair of the Dragon — have remained accessible via alternate entrances, and Disneyland Paris Resort has confirmed the bridge refurbishment will conclude in late September 2026.
