Disney World Reveals Replacement for EPCOT World Showcase Area

The waiting is over. After months of construction walls and radio silence from Walt Disney World Resort, La Poutinerie finally has an opening date. The full menu for the new Quick-Service dining location in the Canada World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT is already live.

Walt Disney World Resort confirmed on June 8 that La Poutinerie will open in the Canada World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT on July 1, 2026. The Canadian-inspired Quick-Service restaurant, sponsored by Air Canada, will serve lunch and dinner beginning on what happens to be Canada Day.

The construction walls surrounding the building also came down on Monday, giving EPCOT guests their first unobstructed view of the transformed structure yet. WDWNT shared early photos of the exterior, showing that the stonework on the supporting pillars and the freshly painted gray roof — both documented in progress just days ago — appear fully complete. Rolling planters still frame the building while finishing touches are applied.

Everything La Poutinerie Will Serve

Walt Disney World Resort's official website published the full menu ahead of the opening, with the restaurant described by both the resort and Air Canada as: “A taste of Canada at EPCOT. La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada brings a Canadian classic with a twist.”

Two poutines anchor the menu: the Québec: L'Authentique — French fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy for $10.99 — and the Montréal: Viande Fumée, which adds smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy for $12.49.

The drink menu includes the Spiced Apple Slushy, made from frozen ginger beer blended with lime and spiced apple flavors, available non-alcoholic for $6.29 or as the Spiced Apple Mule with Iceberg Canadian Vodka at $14.50. Additional options include Molson Canadian Lager ($10.75), Unibroue La Fin du Monde Belgian-style Tripel Ale ($14.00), Jackson-Triggs Reserve Red Blend ($12.00), and Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut ($7.50). Assorted Coca-Cola fountain beverages, smartwater, and DASANI bottled water are also available.

The Road to La Poutinerie

The journey from closed kiosk to new pavilion addition has been a long one. Refreshment Port — the Quick-Service location that had occupied the space for years, known for DOLE Whip, seasonal poutines, and standard Disney Park snacks — closed in January 2026 with no immediate explanation from Walt Disney World Resort.

It wasn't until April that Walt Disney World Resort confirmed the building would be folded into the Canada World Showcase Pavilion and reimagined as La Poutinerie, sponsored by Air Canada.
