The Muppets Haunted Mansion special is set to include all of your favorite Muppet characters plus a host of celebrity cameos, including Disney Imagineering Creative Director Kim Irvine. Irvine is the daughter of Leota Toombs, who plays Madame Leota in the attraction, and we are excited to see her take on a new role within the mansion in this upcoming Disney+ special.
Additional celebrity cameos in Muppets Haunted Mansion include: Darren Criss, Skai Jackson, Chrissy Metz, Pat Sajak, Geoff Keighley, Jeannie Mai, Justina Machado, Alfonso Ribeiro, Craig Robinson, Danny Trejo, Yvette Nicole Brown, John Stamos, and Sasheer Zamata.
The special will also feature brand new, original songs, aptly titled “Rest in Peace,” “Life Hereafter,” and “Tie the Knot Tango.”
During the Hallowstream event, viewers can also watch the new Disney+ originals, LEGO® Star Wars Terrifying Tales, and Just Beyond. We’re also looking forward to our annual viewing of Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas, plus The Simpsons “Treehouse of Horror” episodes.
Disney also recently announced that Disney+ Day is coming to the streaming platform on November 12, 2021. The day will bring new programs to the service including Marvel and Star Wars content, additional classic Pixar shorts, new films like Jungle Cruise, and something we’re really excited for Olaf Presents, a series of shorts featuring Olaf recounting classic Disney tales.
Disney+ has really been killing it with some of their content lately and we are so excited to spend some cozy fall nights on the couch to see some of the new originals and classic favorites coming to the service in the next few months.
