More restaurants are beginning to reopen at the , including a number of fan-favorite locations Guests can expect to enjoy again soon at a number of hotels. The set for reopening will be bringing back their signature favorite dishes plus adding some new menu items that we can’t wait to try!
Over the next two months, Guests will see the return of such locations in the scene as Jiko- the at Lodge ‘s , Flying Fish on ‘s BoardWalk, The & Grill at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Ale & and ‘s Yacht Club Resort, and Cape May Cafe at ‘s .
The first to reopen comes on January 27, 2022, with the return of Flying Fish. This signature experience on ‘s BoardWalk is a destination for diners looking for fresh seafood and savory steaks, and the reopening menu is sure to have something for every taste.
The restaurant’s new Seafood Pearl Pasta is perfect for seafood lovers as it is loaded with shrimp, lobster, scallops, clams, and mussels. Another option fresh from the sea is the Plancha-seared scallops that are served alongside grits and sweet corn. Dessert is something to look forward to at Flying Fish, too with the Cocoa Breach as a new addition to the menu with sweet vanilla custard.
On January 31, 2022, Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will reopen with the return of classic breakfast items and a selection of lunch entrees. Breakfast will include a la carte items like Blueberry Bacon Pancakes to fulfill the urge for something both sweet and savory, and the breakfast buffet will be back with continental additions (freshly baked pastries!) as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, overnight oats, biscuits, and more.
Over at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, The Turf Club Bar & Grill is reopening on February 3, 2022. If you have never made the trip out to Saratoga Springs, some of the new menu items may entice you to give The Turf Club Bar & Grill a try!
For a new appetizer, the restaurant is serving New York Cider-braised Mussels packed with garlic, chorizo, Fresno chili, and apple cider with a grilled baguette so you can dip right into the sauce. Entrees include a Grilled Pork Chop and Braised Lamb Tagliatelle, which both look delicious! And, if you happen to have room for dessert, you will surely want to try the restaurant’s New York Cheesecake.
Beginning February 15, 2022, Guests can once again enjoy a breakfast and dinner buffet at Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The breakfast buffet will include pull-apart bread topped with vanilla sauce, beef hash, and a made-to-order omelet station alongside the Disney breakfast staple of Mickey and Minnie waffles. (Cape May Cafe previously offered character dining during breakfast, however, we have no confirmation for if/when characters will return to this location this time.)
Dinner at Cape May Cafe will come with the return of the seafood buffet featuring cornbread, a harvest salad, full seafood boil, and a carving station, with the option to upgrade your dinner with snow crab legs or a whole lobster available for purchase by the pound.
Jiko- The Cooking Place, returns to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge on February 27, 2022, which is sure to excite Guests who have been missing this popular signature dining experience. Jiko’s menu is inspired by African, Indian, and Mediterranean food with returning favorites including the Seafood Tagine, loaded with prawns, scallops, squid, and clams.
For dessert at Jiko, add the Kilimanjaro dessert to your list- It comes with a beautiful presentation and is filled with dark chocolate mousse, pistachio financier, pink peppercorn meringue, cacao nib crunch, and ras el hanout pineapple offering a totally unique flavor you won’t find anywhere else.
