Walt Disney World Resort‘s premium Lightning Lane Premier Pass has become one of the most sought-after holiday splurges, with sellouts reported during the busiest week of the year at the Central Florida Disney parks. Between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, guests are paying more than $400 daily to skip attraction lines, ensuring smoother visits amid overwhelming holiday crowds.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass, introduced in October 2024, offers one-time access to every Lightning Lane queue at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This includes Single Pass attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Unlike the standard Multi Pass, the Premier Pass eliminates the need to schedule return times, letting guests ride whenever they choose.
This exclusive service, available only to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels, first sold out on November 25, 2024. Prices vary by park and demand, ranging from $329 to $449 per day at Magic Kingdom Park and $269 to $349 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For families hoping to skip lines during the holiday rush, it’s a significant expense with additional perks like digital downloads of select attraction photos and access to Disney PhotoPass Lenses.

As of December 22, 2024, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is completely sold out at Magic Kingdom Park on December 25, December 27, December 28, December 29, December 30, and December 31.
