As we leave the first quarter of 2022 behind, it appears that there were some injuries reported at the Walt Disney World Resort from January through March.
According to journalist Gabrielle Russon, who also reported on the report for , , Aquatica Orlando, and , eight injury incidents have been reported. However, all specific information about the injured Guests, except for their ages, has been omitted from Russon’s coverage.
Avatar: Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney’s Hollywood Studios were both locations of Guests having seizures. It should be noted that both of these E Ticket attractions feature bright flashing lights, specifically strobe lights.

On the other side of Hollywood Studios, a 47-year-old woman was experiencing Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance when she “experienced a cardiac event.” And over at EPCOT, an 82-year-old woman reported chest pain while riding Soarin’ Around the World. Soaring’ was also apparently where a 73-year-old woman had a stroke. Another EPCOT attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, was also apparently the sight of a stroke as the 55-year-old man exited the attraction.
Meanwhile, over in the Magic Kingdom, a 63-year-old woman fell while attempting to mount a horse on the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and fractured her hip, and a 72-year-old woman “passed out” on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
Again, it is unclear what state of health these Guests were in prior to stepping aboard the attractions, and none of these injuries appear to have resulted in death.
We at Disney Fanatic want to remind our readers and their families to please be mindful of what each attraction offers and be honest with yourselves about what could happen. Cast Members are posted at the entrance of the attraction queues and multiple other points along the line if you have any hesitations or questions regarding the experiences.

There are more things to do at the Walt Disney World Resort than ride rides. Starting on Monday, April 18, for example, normal, hug-friendly character meet and greets will finally return after almost a two-year-long hiatus.
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney Park news as more information comes to light.
