First appearing on Disney’s flagship streaming platform years ago, The Mandalorian delivered a spaghetti western of the galaxy far, far away in the aftermath of Return of the Jedi, and fans were introduced to arguably the most beloved character in recent Star Wars lore thanks to the creative work of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.
After two successful seasons and a quick spinoff with Book of Boba Fett, fans have been waiting anxiously for the third season. But, they have been left waiting.

The Mandalorian Season 3 will take place after the events of Book of Boba Fett. “Mando” and Grogu will visit Mandalore, among other planets, and reunite with Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), and Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff). It also appears that Djarin will clash with the Mandalorian cult, Death Watch, in this season as well. The cast is also set to include Christopher Lloyd, Amy Sedaris, Omid Abtahi, Bill Burr, Timothy Olyphant, as well as Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen, Titus Welliver and Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.
All previous seasons of The Mandalorian, as well as newer shows such as Star Wars Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi, are available for streaming now on Disney Plus.
