Marvel Studios already packed Avengers: Doomsday with returning heroes, legacy Marvel characters, and Multiverse chaos, but the studio may not be finished surprising fans just yet.
As excitement continues building around the next massive crossover event, another actress has quietly surfaced online as part of the growing cast. The interesting part is not just who she is, but how little anyone actually knows about the role itself.
Marvel has been extremely careful about revealing details about Avengers: Doomsday. Rumors about alternate realities, hidden cameos, and major twists have followed the project for months. Now, one small casting report has suddenly become another major talking point among fans.

The Doomsday Cast Keeps Growing
Even this close to release, Marvel still appears to be expanding the Avengers: Doomsday lineup. That says a lot considering how stacked the movie already looks on paper.
Marvel has officially confirmed several major MCU stars alongside longtime Marvel legacy actors. Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Professor X (Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Ian McKellen), Shuri/Black Panther (Letitia Wright), and Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) are all attached to the film.
The movie will also feature Marvel’s Fantastic Four, including Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal). On top of that, several members of the Thunderbolts are expected to appear as the studio continues pulling together characters from across multiple corners of the Marvel universe.
With mutants, Multiverse storylines, and crossover characters all colliding in one film, Avengers: Doomsday could easily become one of the franchise’s biggest productions ever.
And now another unexpected name has entered the conversation.

Disney Fans May Recognize This Actress
Reports recently surfaced connecting young actress Matilda Firth to Avengers: Doomsday. Disney fans likely recognize Firth from Disenchanted (2022), where she played Bella opposite Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert Philip (Patrick Dempsey).
The casting rumor gained traction after Firth’s agency page reportedly listed her in the movie under the role name “Little Girl.” That listing no longer appears publicly, but its removal has only sparked more curiosity about her involvement.
Marvel itself has not officially confirmed her casting.
That uncertainty has left fans trying to figure out whether the role is minor or tied to something much larger hidden inside the film’s storyline. Marvel has used generic character names before to protect spoilers, so many viewers immediately started theorizing after the listing appeared online.

She Has Quietly Built a Strong Career
While Disenchanted introduced Firth to many Disney viewers, she has already started building an impressive list of credits.
She later appeared in Wolf Man, Blumhouse’s reboot of the classic horror property, where she played Ginger. She also appeared in Subservience alongside Megan Fox, showing that she has already started moving into darker material outside family films.
Television audiences may also recognize her from ITV’s Mr Bates vs The Post Office and Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers.
Marvel Studios has increasingly invested in younger actors who could potentially remain in the MCU for years. That makes Firth’s reported casting especially interesting, even if nobody yet knows exactly who she may be playing.

Why Fans Are Watching This Casting So Closely
Right now, fans see two possible explanations for the mysterious “Little Girl” credit.
The simplest option is that Firth appears briefly during one of the movie’s large-scale Multiverse battle scenes. Reports already point to several realities colliding throughout Avengers: Doomsday, suggesting the movie will likely feature ordinary civilians caught in the middle of the chaos.
But Marvel fans know the studio rarely makes things that simple.
The other possibility is that the generic title hides a much more important role. Marvel has a long history of protecting major reveals behind fake names or vague casting descriptions before release.
That has sparked theories that Firth could play a younger version of an existing Marvel character or perhaps even the daughter of an important MCU figure connected to the Multiverse Saga.
For now, though, Marvel remains completely silent.

Marvel’s Mystery Strategy Is Working
Almost every piece of news tied to Avengers: Doomsday immediately sparks another wave of theories online, and Matilda Firth’s reported casting has done exactly that.
Whether she ultimately appears for only a few moments or becomes part of a much bigger surprise, Marvel has once again succeeded in keeping fans guessing. And with the studio continuing to guard major story details, many viewers believe this probably will not be the final surprise attached to Avengers: Doomsday before release.
