After waiting the same amount of time it would probably take to walk the entirety of The Hundred Acre Woods twice, Winnie the Pooh and his pals are finally returning to their Character Dining spot in The Magic Kingdom.

Disney Parks announced today,

“We’re rumbly in our tummy with exciting news! Winnie the Pooh and pals are returning for breakfast on Oct. 25 at the Crystal Palace! Reservations open Sept. 22.”

The Crystal Palace offers the chance to spend some time with Pooh Bear, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Further clarification with a Cast Member showed that the beloved characters would return to Lunch and Dinner experiences on October 20, with the classic Crystal Palace Character Breakfast returning five days later. It is unclear at this time why the character breakfast was delayed almost a full week.

The Crystal Palace is a family-friendly buffet-style dining experience at Magic Kingdom Park situated along the Central Hub at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., between Casey’s Corner and the entrance to Adventureland.

The Walt Disney World Resort describes its sit-down restaurant on its website as the following:

A Splendid Dining Experience

Inspired by Victorian greenhouses of the late 1800s, The Crystal Palace brims with light, topiaries and tropical palms. It’s an enchanting spot to dine in the heart of Magic Kingdom park with views of Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A.

Our friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood will be taking a break from greeting Guests, but the restaurant remains a perfect location to celebrate with family and friends.

A Bountiful Buffet

Bountiful buffets feature American favorites prepared before you in the onstage kitchen.

For lunch and dinner, choose from mouth-watering favorites like roasted carved meats, freshly prepared pastas, delicious salads and beyond.

And delight in such desserts as warm seasonal cobbler, butterscotch pudding, strawberry shortcake and soft-serve ice cream—the perfect ending to your lunch or dinner.

All menu items are subject to change without notice.

Please keep in mind that the Crystal Palace is an in-Park dining experience and still requires all Guests to present valid Theme Park admission as well as a Park Pass Reservation for the day of their reservations. Acquisition of a Crystal Palace dinner reservation does not guarantee the acquisition of a correlating Theme Park Reservation. Please plan accordingly.

We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney Parks news and stories as more developments come to light.
