One of the biggest parts of many Guests’ Walt Disney World Resort vacation is planning where they want to eat. Walt Disney World is truly a food mecca, with something for everyone, from Latin to French, German, Irish, American, Mexican, and more. There are also a ton of different ways to dine on the delicious food — grab-and-go, counter service, table, service, and even character dining. While table-service meals at Disney World restaurants can get pricey, they are always something that a lot of families like to indulge in once or twice during their vacation.
For nearly a year, an incredibly popular sit-down dining spot has been undergoing a huge renovation. Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is known for its upscale and sensational coastal cuisine. While a lot of the menu includes seafood, there are also some amazing options for those who prefer land options, as well as those who want to stick to a vegetarian meal.
Well, we have some exciting news to share. On April 1, Narcoossee’s will reopen with not only a new look, but some brand-new menu offerings! Let’s take a look at the options, which were first shared by Disney Eats.
For All Guests
Artisan Boule of Sourdough – made fresh daily and served with creamy butter
Starters
Lobster Bisque – the bisque has been a Narcoossee’s staple for years, but now it will be presented table side!
Beef and Ricotta Tortelloni – served with brown butter, parsnip purée, and Sultana raisins
Ocean-Inspired Charcuterie Board – featuring Ahi tuna pastrami, charred octopus, and house-made sausage from the sea
Main Course
Blackened Redfish – served with a crispy chorizo-sunchoke hash with hominy, Florida sweet corn, and red pepper rouille
Roasted Vegetable Paella – made with market vegetables, cannellini beans, and preserved artichoke finished with charred Meyer lemon
Dry-Aged Pork Ribeye Chop – served with creamy goat cheese-potato pave and turnips with onion jam and a fig jus
There will also be returning favorites, like the Surf n’ Turf, made with filet Mignon and butter-poached lobster and the Plancha-seared scallops with Parisian gnocchi.
Dessert
Berry Pavlova – made with Florida fresh berries and citrus placed over meringue and yuzu crémeux and finished with a tableside pour of anglaise
Pineapple Bavarois – a roasted-pineapple center and house-made blackberry-buttermilk ice cream
The most famous item on the menu may be the Almond-crusted cheesecake, with a Lambert cherry sauce and Chantilly cream. So, of course, Disney had to keep it on the menu!
Again, Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort will open for Guests on April 1, with reservations opening on March 1. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to dine at this iconic Grand Floridian spot and enjoy some of the best that Disney World has to offer!
