We’ve just learned some new details about the show, following last week’s behind the scenes look at the music coming to Harmonious and this morning’s live stream announcement from the Disney Parks Blog, and we are excited to share more about this new EPCOT spectacular.

In addition to our last report on the music featured in Harmonious, we’re learning that this all-new, original soundtrack will result in a 20-minute long performance. The entire spectacle is comprised of 15 songs total, many reimagined Disney classics, and they will be performed in 13 languages. The global connectivity aspect of Harmonious sounds perfect for World Showcase and we cannot wait to see the finished product!

The musical ensemble was made up of 240 artists from around the globe, each adding their own unique spin from their culture to classic Disney musical numbers. Harmonious will feature songs and show scenes from a variety of Disney films on including Moana, Hercules, The Lion King, The Princess and The Frog, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Coco, Brave, Mulan, and lots more.

Harmonious is said to be one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for any Disney theme park, and it will come complete with floating platforms in the shape of a compass on World Showcase Lagoon, four 25×88 ft. LED panels, five-story high water curtains for projections, eight 54-foot-long movable arms choreographed to the show moving off the floating platforms, and hundreds of Imagineer programed pyro effects, fountains, projections, and more.
