Take a Behind the Scenes Look at Music Coming to EPCOT from Harmonious

Walt Disney World is kicking off “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” with new nighttime fireworks spectaculars at both EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom and today, the Disney Parks Blog shared a sneak peek at what’s to come with Harmonious in EPCOT!

The new nightly fireworks show will debut on October 1, the same day as the Magic Kingdom’s Disney Enchantment. The 50th anniversary celebration is also set to be a major milestone in the overall reimagining of EPCOT and the fireworks are one piece of the new offerings coming that will truly enhance the Guest experience at this classic Disney theme park.

Harmonious features a breathtaking soundtrack with original music and favorite Disney songs reimagined by artists from around the globe, perfect for a show that will be performed nightly over World Showcase Lagoon. Music from the show will be featured throughout the park to seamlessly blend this new experience together.

Zach Riddley, Walt Disney World Site Portfolio Executive with Walt Disney Imagineering shared, “Harmonious is a unique experience that could only happen at EPCOT, a place dedicated to possibility, wonder and global community. I’ve had the opportunity to join my Disney Live Entertainment and Walt Disney Imagineering colleagues for several late-night rehearsals as they put the finishing touches on the show, and “Harmonious” delivers a powerfully emotional experience. We can’t wait to share it with all of you, starting in just two weeks!

This sneak peek of Harmonious follows recent news of the Fab 50 character statues being installed in EPCOT, another special edition for the Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebrations, as well as the reopening of fan favorite Club Cool. The new Creations Shop just opened in the park as well, replacing Mouse Gear as EPCOT’s flagship merchandise location.
