New Video Shares a Behind the Scenes Look at Cirque du Soleil’s “Drawn to Life” in Disney Springs

The Disney Parks Blog recently shared a new behind the scenes look at “Drawn to Life” presented by Cirque du Soleil! This all-new performance is coming very soon to Disney Springs. In fact, we are now less than one month away from its opening performances on November 18, 2021.

In this new behind the scenes look at the show, we are learning more background on what inspired the show and how it will work as a creative collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. The show combines all of the elements that make Cirque du Soleil’s performances entertaining and memorable including immersive sets and costuming, talented performances with singing, dancing, and performing a variety of acrobatic tricks and stunts, and more.

As a new original show designed just for Disney Springs, “Drawn to Life” is a celebration of classic Disney storytelling as seen through some of our favorite Disney animated films. The show combines classic Disney characters and iconic moments from Disney films with the unique performance style of Cirque du Soleil in a way that is sure to create lasting memories for the audiences made up of Guests from around the world.

Cirque du Soleil’s musical team and costuming department have also been hard at work designing all new looks and sounds that will debut with the performances. We cannot wait to hear the soundtrack for “Drawn to Life,” which will include a new original score that draws its inspiration from some of the most memorable Disney songs.

In the video shared by the Disney Parks Blog below, director, designer, and animator from Walt Disney Animation Studios Eric Goldberg shares a look into how “Drawn to Life” shares the stories seen in Disney animation in an all new way, immersing audience members both into the worlds of classic Disney storytelling and the artistry that makes Cirque du Soleil such a renowned experience.
