If you happen to be walking around Walt Disney World this weekend, don’t be alarmed; everything is going to be okay. Disney World is going to be playing host to some of the largest and fastest human beings on Earth.

Starting today, the National Football League’s Pro Bowl weekend festivities will kick off in Orlando. The games begin on February 1 with the NFL’s Skills Showdown and end on Sunday with the Pro Bowl Game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. In the meantime, though, some of the NFL’s biggest stars will be wandering around the Walt Disney World Resort.

For those of you who have never been around NFL players, your first encounter with them could be jarring. The sheer size and build of an NFL player is hard to fathom. As a point of reference, if you stand in a doorway and look side to side and up and down, you may get an idea of just how large an NFL player actually is. And that doesn’t give you an idea of their speed.

For example, the Detroit Lions’ defensive end, Aidan Hutchinson, will play in the NFL Pro Bowl. He is 6′ 7″ and weighs 269 pounds. Dallas Cowboys’ linebacker Micah Parsons is 6′ 3″ and 245 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds, which means he’s running 18 miles per hour.

The Thursday Skills Competition pits some of the NFL’s best players against each other in random competitive events like dodgeball, precision passing, best catch, and a golfing closest to the pin contest. The Skills Competition will air on Disney-owned ESPN.

The Sunday Pro Bowl Game will be open to the public at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Peyton Manning and Eli Manning will coach the two teams in a flag football game.

But as if that weren’t enough great athletes running (literally) around Disney World this weekend, Orlando will also be hosting the Olympic Marathon trials on Saturday. It will be a busy weekend for athletes at the Walt Disney World Resort.

So, don’t be alarmed if you happen to be at Disney World this weekend and see a group of substantial human beings. It’s just the NFL Pro Bowl stopping at Disney World before heading to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
