‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Update: New Trailer Released, More Info Revealed

Star Wars fans are less than one month away from the double-episode launch of the highly-anticipated limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi, and as Disney and Lucasfilm with everyone, “May the Fourth be with you,” they also share some new information–including a new trailer.

Check it out:

The trailer gives fans the first indication that Kenobi and Owen Lars knew each other, and it appears that the same sentiments Luke’s uncle expressed in Episode IV: A New Hope are present in this prequel series. We also see that Kenobi becomes one of the most wanted men in all of the galaxy as Darth Vader sets his inquisitors on a hunt for him specifically.

The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

Perhaps the most exciting part of this series is the return of Darth Vader and a thrilling lightsaber rematch between Kenobi and his former padawan.
