Walt Disney World Resort is one of the top destination vacations for families. There is something for everyone between the four incredible theme parks, the two water parks, and Disney Springs. For families with young kids, Magic Kingdom is full of wonder. Animal Kingdom is perfect for those who love animals and want to learn more about the planet. EPCOT is a great pick for those who love to travel and try foods from around the world. Finally, for thrill seekers and Star Wars or Toy Story fanatics, Hollywood Studios is a must-visit.
One of the biggest things families with children must decide is when the right time is to visit. When is a child the right age to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth? The answer varies based on each family. Some people want to take their babies as soon as they have their shots. Others wait until their kids are toddlers, so they have more of an understanding of the characters and experiences. Other families wait until their kids are older and don’t require as much work, that way everyone can enjoy the Parks.
One family is going viral for their… interesting… questions regarding their first Walt Disney World trip. According to the now-deleted, the family was taking their two-and-a-half-year-old to the Resort. However, they had never co-slept with their child, meaning that he has never slept in their room or on their bed, even when he was a baby. They noted that he was still in a crib. The parents were unsure about what to do with their baby, which led to them asking some truly eyebrow-raising questions.
The parents wanted to know if they should have their baby sleep in the bathroom. But then, what if they needed to use the bathroom? What about when the baby went to bed? If the parents weren’t ready to go to sleep, would they have to whisper? Then they asked maybe the most shocking question of all — would they be allowed to leave their baby alone in the hotel room.
I can’t believe what I just read on a Disney FB page. What?!?

The Facebook post received a lot of comments, so many that it was deleted. However, once things are posted on the internet, they never go away. The post was shared on Twitter, and users were shocked by the behavior of the parents. Many joked about how ludicrous the parents sounded, while others shared stories of lone children wandering around without their parents. Some asked if it was a real post, and the Twitter user said that, sadly, it seemed the parents were one hundred percent serious in their query.
Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with young ones can be an overwhelming experience. It is even more overwhelming when it is their very first time visiting. Disney is a magical place where it seems nothing bad can happen. However, it is still a part of the real world, and bad things can happen. Keeping an eye on your child at all times is key to keeping them safe in such a busy place.
