Fans of the Rick Riordan book series about the demigod Percy Jackson and his friends at Camp Half-Blood have been eagerly awaiting news of the upcoming Disney+ Percy Jackson series (especially since the first two movie adaptations of the books were heavily criticized by both fans and Rick Riordan himself), and Disney has been releasing the cast list for the show little by little. Now, more actors have been announced for the original series — and we know who is playing two important characters, Clarissa and Luke!
The actors taking over the roles of the three main characters (i.e. the son of Poseidon named Percy Jackson, the daughter of Athena named Annabeth, and the satyr Grover) are Walker Scobell, Leah Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri. Production on the series has already started, despite some controversy, and now we know which actors are playing three more characters who are integral to the story of Percy Jackson and the Olympians!
Attention, campers! 🔱 Meet more of our amazing guest stars on #PercyJackson and The Olympians, coming to @DisneyPlus.

Charlie Bushnell is apparently playing Luke Castellan. Luke is the son of Hermes, and becomes a very crucial part of Percy’s story (particularly in the first two Rick Riordan books called Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief and Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters).

The next actor who has been brought on board and welcomed into Camp Half-Blood is Dior Goodjohn, who is playing Clarisse La Rue. Clarissa is a Greek demigod like Annabeth, Luke, Percy, and the rest of the kids at Camp Half-Blood. She is the daughter of Ares, the Greek god of war, and subsequently takes on many combative personality traits. She and Percy Jackson clash often, but eventually come to an understanding on their adventures.

The next guest star who has been announced is Olivea Morton, who is playing Nancy Bobofit. Interestingly enough, Nancy Bobofit is not actually a big part of the Percy Jackson series. She is a kleptomaniac who bullies Percy and Grover when they are in school together, just before Percy learns that he is a demigod. It seems likely from Disney’s announcement of Olivea’s role that they are going to make Nancy Bobofit a more significant character this time around on Disney+!
